"After my husband passed, there were papers everywhere — in drawers, in boxes, some in a folder in the wardrobe. I didn't know where to start. Kannika spent two mornings with me going through everything. We ended up with a proper folder system and a printed index. I can actually find things now."

"I'd been meaning to sort my property files for years. Deedhaven came in, did the work, and left me with something I can actually use. The bilingual index was particularly helpful because my Thai is functional but not great for reading document titles. Good value for the time it would have taken me."

"The information session was more useful than I expected. I thought it would be quite general but it was actually tailored to our household — we have property in two provinces and that added some complexity. I came away with a clear plan and a printed guide I've referred to several times since."

"We've been on the Records Maintenance Companion arrangement for about seven months now. Marcus visits once a month, files whatever has come in, updates the inventory, and sends a brief note of what he's done. It's become something I just don't have to think about, which is exactly what I needed."

"My parents had a large amount of property and estate paperwork in no particular order. We'd been putting off sorting it for two years after my father's passing. Pornpan was very patient with the process and clearly understood what the various document types were. Four sessions in total and we had a complete working archive."

"Straightforward and professional. The information session covered exactly the sort of practical ground I needed — I had some ideas about how to structure my records but wasn't confident. The retention schedule guidance was particularly useful. I've since organised my files myself based on what I learned."

Case Studies

Three household situations in detail

Case Study 01

Estate archive consolidation after a property inheritance

The Situation

A family in Ban Chang inherited three properties from a parent and found the documentation scattered across multiple locations — some at a solicitor's office, some at home, and some unaccounted for. Two siblings lived abroad and needed reliable remote access to key documents.

What We Did

Three working sessions at the family home, creating a property-by-property folder structure. A digital index was created alongside the physical one so remote family members could see what existed and where. We also established a review schedule for time-sensitive documents.

The Outcome

All three properties documented and filed. Two previously missing title documents located. Remote family members given a clear index of what is held. Took approximately nine working hours across three visits. The family later added a Maintenance Companion arrangement.

"What I appreciated was that they came in with a clear plan but were also flexible when we found that the paperwork situation was more complicated than expected."

Case Study 02

Ongoing maintenance for an expatriate household with multiple assets

The Situation

A British couple in Map Ta Phut had an organised archive from a previous attempt at sorting, but new documents kept arriving and there was no system for incorporating them. After six months, the backlog had grown again. They wanted something that required no effort from them to maintain.

What We Did

A monthly visit arrangement. The first visit refreshed and standardised the existing archive. Subsequent visits handle new intake: insurance renewals, updated vehicle papers, condo correspondence, and similar. Each visit produces a brief summary note of what was filed.

The Outcome

Nine months into the arrangement, no backlog has developed. The household can locate any document within a few minutes. The couple have told us they have stopped thinking about their paperwork entirely, which was the goal.

"It's a small thing but it's one less item on the list of things I need to manage. The monthly visit takes maybe two hours and everything stays in order."

Case Study 03

Information session for a household preparing to organise independently

The Situation

A Thai family in Klaeng had a reasonably small collection of household papers but were uncertain about what to keep, how long to keep it, and how to name folders in a way that would be useful to their adult children as well as themselves.

What We Did

A single two-hour session at their home, covering folder categories for a household of their type, Thai document retention norms, and a practical naming convention that works in both Thai and English. A printed reference guide was provided at the end of the session.

The Outcome

The family organised their own records within three weeks using the framework from the session. They have contacted us once since for a brief follow-up question, which we answered at no charge. A one-session engagement that left them fully independent.

"The session answered questions I hadn't known how to put into words. Having the reference guide means I don't have to remember everything from the visit."
